Multimedia Designer

DATIS is seeking a new Multimedia Designer to join our Sales & Marketing team. This visionary, creative, and experienced new media designer will focus on digital delivery of materials for B2B marketing campaigns. As the Multimedia Designer at DATIS, you will report to the Director of Marketing. You will be critical in delivering on our marketing strategies and you will be highly involved in the evolution of our brand and messaging to attract our target audiences. This will involve working with multiple departments and across many marketing channels to help us achieve our goals.

In this role, you will be responsible for content creation and execution of a wide variety of media types including website design, landing page design, animated graphics projects, HTML email communications, print publications, presentations, proposals, and more, to help us communicate the value of our solution to clients and prospects within our target market. 

What you'll do all day

  • Perform front end web design tasks utilizing basic HTML and CSS
  • Deliver a wide variety of graphic assets to support campaigns including landing pages, animated videos, HTML emails, banner ads, tradeshow booths, print pieces, presentations, and more 
  • Work closely with Marketing team to ensure timely and accurate execution of projects
  • Revise and refine visual marketing materials through multiple iterations
  • Help create and manage brand guidelines for all creative projects and maintain a library of brand assets for company use
  • Provide project status reports at regularly scheduled checkpoints with leadership
  • Stay up-to-date on key technology, marketing, and industry trends
  • Other related marketing and design tasks as assigned

Skills you'll need to succeed

  • Understanding of marketing concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and basic web development methods
  • Proven track record of delivering highly-creative content, design, multimedia and digital marketing services.
  • Experience with interactive email campaign design
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively and autonomously
  • Ability to organize projects in a systematic way to establish priorities and meet deadlines
  • Able to work in a fast-paced multi-team environment
  • Able to discuss user experience and present designs to peers and/or executives
  • Relativity and the ability to think outside the box to tell our stories through graphics and animations
  • Problem-solving and initiative to bring projects through to the finish line
  • Proficiency working with graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator)
  • Knowledge of and experience with marketing automation tools like Pardot

Position Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in multimedia design
  • Bachelor's Degree in graphic design or comparable work experience
  • Demonstrated portfolio of graphic design capabilities
  • Strong desire to learn with a curious personality and optimistic attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Independent, creative problem-solver
  • A team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
