Software Sales Account Executive, New York

This role is part of our Account Executive team covering the New York region. You will be responsible for the entire sales lifecycle. This includes new client prospecting, identifying opportunities, product demonstration, and contract negotiation. You will bring sales expertise and experience that supports the overall business objectives of DATIS HR Cloud, Inc. while introducing fresh ideas and perspectives.

What would you do all day?

  • Manage end-to-end sales cycle beginning with prospecting, lead cultivation, opportunity management, contract negotiation and deal closure
  • Maintain accurate sales forecast and pipeline data in Salesforce.com 
  • Partner with Marketing to increase pipeline through demand generation and targeted campaigns to DATIS e3 prospect target market
  • Lead product demos through on-site or web-based presentations to manage product positioning, and strategies
  • Learn and maintain knowledge of DATIS e3 product and technologies, competitors, industry trends
  • Provide product feedback from prospects to Development and Product Management
  • Develop and maintain competitive knowledge on industry to leverage in the sales cycle
  • Conduct executive level discussions from VP to CXO prospects to execute solution and value selling
  • Assist with business development at conferences and trade shows

It's essential that you have:

  • A verifiable track record of exceeding quota 
  • A minimum of 5 years in software sales including B2B SaaS products to medium-sized businesses
    • Medium-sized business is defined as 200-2,000 employees and revenues from $10m-$100m.
  • An analytical approach to sales and decision-making processes
  • Total command of Salesforce.com
  • A highly organized and detail-oriented work ethic
  • Proven ability to work in a home-based office while maintaining the world-class culture of the DATIS Cloud, Inc. HQ office.
  • Ability to travel nationwide 50%
